Our Breakfast before Business events are proving to be very popular, with numbers continually growing! Thanks must go to the Ballina RSL for the wonderful breakfasts they provide, the feedback was fantastic.

The February breakfast was no exception. Over 60 members attended the event with a very interesting and topical presentation by Lachlan Stace of the Sustainable Urban Business project. The Sustainable Urban Business project is a tri-council initiative, between Richmond Valley, Lismore and Ballina Local Councils.

The program is offering a FREE service to businesses within the local government areas, and have had over 200 businesses participate in the Richmond Valley and Lismore area’s. The project is now in Ballina, with the number of particpating businesses expected to high.

The Sustainable Urban Business project are also sponsors of the upcoming Northern Rivers CEO’s forum, which will have Ian Kiernan as keynote speaker. Look out for more information on the CEO’s Forum and sustainability workshops coming up!
