Guest Speaker: Katrina Luckie, CEO of Regional Development Australia Northern Rivers Katrina is an experienced and energetic regional development professional. She is an Applied Science graduate who has applied her technical skills in the areas of community engagement, regional planning, statistical analysis, research design, regional advocacy, sustainability, industry development and capacity building. Katrina has an extensive knowledge of the Northern Rivers region and is passionate about innovative ways to improve the sustainability and quality of life for our region’s environment and communities.
RDA – Northern Rivers promote economic and employment growth and contribute to business development and investment attraction. Part of their role is to broaden the Northern Rivers’ industry base and develop new products or markets, including export markets. Job creation and economic sustainability are the key objectives of this work. Katrina will provide an overview of RDA’s many and varied projects along with some very interesting information about the Northern Rivers both now and looking forward.
